Just to clarify -- I wasn't talking trash about the LoCo Council. Of course we talked with them, often. Stuff Happens; we all know this. What happened or didn't happen wasn't their fault. It wasn't even the former leader's fault, or those who decided that regional groups would be deprecated.
Improving processes and clearing away dead wood, etc. *is important.* Because when people are enthusiastic, they should have help not hindrance, in order to create success. So kudos to Jono for pointing the searchlight, and kudos for the LoCo Council for putting in the time to do the necessary work. I appreciate all the work that you do. And I agree that LoCos can do valuable work. Our case was just presented to show what can happen when "stuff" gets in the way of getting things started. I hope that stuff gets cleared away so this doesn't happen to other people and other groups in the future.
