Let's do a sanity check ... SO ... EVERYONE SOUND OFF ON WHETHER YOU AGREE OR NOT WITH MY SUMMARY! It was this recently posted "2 view" summary ... http://list.lpi.org/pipermail/lpi-discuss/2006-December/010317.html If LPI came out and _explicitly_guaranteed_ the _perpetual_ right to use the LPIC titles and logos ... A) Would that be "enough" to satisfy people -- especially those who took LPIC-1 and stopped (or those who passed LPIC-2 and stopped as well)? Especially since nearly all other program retire title/logo usage after 2-3 years? B) And would that also be "enough" to satisfy those of us, as well as technical managers and other, technical hiring authorities (not just non-technical HR, etc...), who want to differentiate themselves for being "ACTIVE" in certificiation? Or would even an explicit clarification by LPI that they will _always_ allow the _perpetual_right_ to the LPIC titles and logos not satify those of "A"? -- Bryan J.
