I agree with Fernando that the exam proposed by Bryan is to wide and not
a necessary core exam for LPIC-3. IMHO there won't be a core LPIC-3
exam because the specialisations are too different.
So the plan for LPIC-3 so far is having just tthe Samba and the LDAP
exams, and candidates would have to pass both to become LPICP-3? My
proposal for a required "general" auth/naming exam, making sure
candidates have good dhcp and pam skills is not what LPI is planning so
far? The rest of your message makes me think you like the idea of a
LPICP-3-Samba and LPICP-3-LDAP, but without a pre-requisite core exam.
