I agree too, but not for the year of certification, but for the year
of the latest JTA.

How can one prove working experience to an XYZ company in a far away
part of the world?
I don't see a simple way to measure "working experience". To my knowledge,
every method to quantify such subjective things has major flaws (despite
working correctly in some cases).
If such idea is selected to implementation by LPI, I suggest, instead of giving
away certificates, just send some vouchers, so the person can take an exam for
free.
