Well, I'd start with something like what these guys do:
http://www.pmi.org/prod/groups/public/documents/info/PDC_PMPCCR.asp
In order to satisfy the CCR Program and maintain an active credential
status individuals who have attained the PMP and/or Program Management
Professional credential(s) must accrue and report a minimum of 60
professional development units (PDUs) during each CCR cycle, which is
typically 3 years, complete an Application for Certification Renewal and
payment of the renewal fee, and reaffirm the PMI Code of Ethics and
Professional Conduct.
and the details are in:
http://www.pmi.org/prod/groups/public/documents/info/pdc_cert_ccr_qualfy_act.asp
Category 1: Formal Academic Education
Category 2: Professional Activities and Self-Directed Learning
Category 3: PMI Registered Education Providers (R.E.P.s)
Category 4: Other Providers
Category 5: Volunteer Service to Professional or Community Organizations
Category 2 is broken down into authorship, teaching, speaking, courseware
development, 'professional' practice (note: only 25% of PDUs can be from
working in the job), and self-directed learning.
Category 3 would be for people taking courses at an LPI ATP.
Category 4 would be for people taking courses at an non-LPI ATP location.
Category 5 (sounds like a hurricane :)) can be up to 33% of your PDUs.
If you want to do the digging, the ISC2 guys have something similar:
