Even worse is the fact that the Guild had actually been negotiating with the administration for 2 weeks but the administration had dug its heels in and refused to consider any concessions. There is a report of the VC actually storming out of a meeting and telling the Guild people that he could take whatever the students decide to dish out. Such attitudes I believe were the primary cause of this riot. But seriously this is getting OT so I am moving any further discussion to appropriate fora e.g. [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Noah. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Today's Excellence is tomorrow's mediocrity" --Robb Thompson _______________________________________________ LUG mailing list [email protected] http://kym.net/mailman/listinfo/lug %LUG is generously hosted by INFOCOM http://www.infocom.co.ug/ The above comments and data are owned by whoever posted them (including attachments if any).
