Hmmh, I've some name servers running on FreeBSD 6.0, I've tried to locate 'nscd' but can't find anything. The closest match the search returns is 'nsd', which is the: /usr/ports/dns/nsd/ NSD (Name Server Daemon) is a complete implementation of an authoritative DNS nameserver.
