Console games are great in their own respect. But i find PC games are a
richer experience. The mods and community for PC games are what keeps me
coming back. And users still play old PC games, once a console falls a
generation behind good luck finding games for it. I look at OSS projects
like Open Transport Tycoon as a way to get younger kids into Linux. Once
they figure out that they can create their own content and share it amongst
their peers. But their need to be more OSS games for this to happen. I feel
an OSS football game would be the best ice breaker. It would definitely hold
children's interest.
