hi, as lyx helped me a lot when writing my thesis, i decided to contribute something to this project.
i will try to translate cs.po. There is already cs.po, but from very old version of lyx and full of 'fuzzy' sections, so i would rather start from scratch. i have a few comments and questions: - firstly instructions from po/README didnt work for me (in particular make xx.po doesnt work.) after few experiments i builded the directory and simply took lyx.pot file. hope thats correct. - there is wrong link http://www.lyx.org/about/devel/translation.php in translation section of the www lyx pages (http://www.lyx.org/about/i18n.php). now the questions: - is there any meaning, why to translate sections like msgid "FontModuleBase", which seem to be more of coding part ? - there is lot of sections, which translations seem to be very context-dependent and only information in the .po file gives no clue to me. is there any (simple) way, how to find the corresponding dialog,etc in the running instance of lyx ? (the ui source files dont bring much more light for me:) - are there any restrictions on things which must be translated - i.e. there are cases where the translation seems to be more confusing than the original version. bye pavel
