i went through the whole list of strings and i am doubtful about this point.
particularly the part of the layouts strings seems to be problematic.

i agree that the basic strings from the layouts as article or memoir should be
translated, but i don't see the benefit of translating such layouts as
amsmath or g-brief-de for example.

most of the layouts does not have the czech translation in latex and thus the 
final output won't have the terminology expected by user from the lyx 
environemnt.
in such a case i find the translation of string to be inappropriate - if some
user choose amsmath package, he should get the strings which will be in the 
final
output (eg. theorem, proof, etc.)

do you agree in this point ?
