Bryan,
I wouldn't know an IP address if it bit me. I have never used them. I 
usually just double click on the displayed computer names in chooser 
after I have clicked Appleshare. It opens a dislog box asking for 
password and name and that's it. How is IP address different. Who 
assigns the IP address? If it is me how do I know what address to give 
them? These are computers on a home network.
