Think Insights bad (they are...)?
I just moved back to Michigan and had to go back with Comcast to get  
decent internet speeds.
Now, Comcast is really a pain in the... well you get the idea.

Once I finally had the guy come out, it took forever to get it set up  
because I'm on a Mac. Finally, I had to beg him to let me just do the  
set up part and he could phone in the numbers to HQ.

After that everything was great, for a while. It seems that Comcast  
is spotty when you are using a router (3 laptops in the house, so we  
are). Have to periodically (every few days or so) turn off the  
airport express and the modem for about 30sec and then turn them back  
on, or no internet connection.
This is with no changing of hardware or settings.

Once, about a week after hook up we were getting no internet service  
(the modem wasn't connecting). The next door neighbors (who use  
insight) had a working signal. I know this because I could connect to  
their wireless network.

I call Comcast and keep getting put on hold by an automated system  
that tells me that my call is very important to them, all the while  
I'm listening to commercials for... wait for it... Comcast High-Speed  
internet. After almost 20 min, a recording comes on and tells me that  
there is an outage in the whole area and to call back later, then  
HANGS UP ON ME.

I was extremely angry and called back, finally got someone on the  
phone, they said a tech could be out next week to check it out, and  
the that problem was obviously something I had done to my set up.

I changed nothing, and a day later noticed that my modem was  
connecting and everything was fine.

I hate these big companies that have what seems to be a monopoly on  
high-speed internet access.
Couple that with the fact that Comcast is now limiting their  
"Unlimited" High-Speed Access, etc...

erg...

Good luck with Insight though, I had much less problems with them.
