Wow, I've heard plenty of horror stories about Comcast, here's another one for the PSC to ponder.
However, from what I hear about Insight, they've been pretty reliable. Most of my family has it and haven't had any problems, with the exception of the 3-day missing email fiasco. My problem is that I'm very near the DSL limit. My speed fluctuates with bursts up to 105, but it mostly sits around 80 or so. And I'm supposed to have a 1.5 line. So I called my ISP and asked them about their "Extreme DSL" and surprise! I'm not qualified for it. So I either have to bite the bullet with Insult or move closer to the CO. And believe it or not, I'm leaning more toward moving now. b3studios wrote: >Think Insights bad (they are...)? >I just moved back to Michigan and had to go back with Comcast to get >decent internet speeds. >Now, Comcast is really a pain in the... well you get the idea. > >Once I finally had the guy come out, it took forever to get it set up >because I'm on a Mac.
