I'm like John. I like a little redundancy in my life. Our main phone number is on insight, but my office line is with another VOIP provider, but it just goes through the same Insight line. (But are now up to four iPhones in the house, so I understand your point.) I'd get rid of the cable in a heart-beat, too, but my wife cooks my meals so that would be a risky move. I'm thinking of adding a UVerse internet line and a load-balancing router, but John has a good point: the wires are still on the same pole. I just can't wrap my brain around the idea of a latency-bedeviled satellite link, though. j. -- Jonathan Fletcher FileMaker 9/10/11/12 Certified Developer Fletcher Data Consulting [email protected] http://www.fletcherdata.com 502-509-7137 Personal Blog o'Stuff: http://jfletch.posterous.com Kentuckiana's FileMaker Developers Group First "post-apocalyptic" meeting: Tuesday, January 22nd, noon to 3:30-ish http://www.kyfmp.com
