We tried our best to bring Mailplane 3 at least at par with Mailplane 2 but we know that it's impossible to please everyone and we try hard to keep Mailplane 2 around as long as possible because we definitively don't want to push anyone into upgrading to Mailplane 3. But on the other hand we can't give a guarantee that Mailplane 2 will stay around forever. It's already 8 years old and as you already mentioned, we heavily depend on Google and Apple which both are companies improving their products at a breakneck pace. We expect to have an update available soon, which will at least allow you to sign in in Mailplane 2 again. Write us directly to [email protected] if you're interested in a preview version.
