O Wise Knowers of Latin: This isn't a Vergil question, but it is a Latin question. Our church is celebrating its 175th anniversary next year. We know that sesquicentennial is 150th. Sesqui means "one and a half." Is there a Latin prefix that means "one and three quarters" that we can use with the word -centennial? Or is there another Latin term for this 175th anniversary? So far what we have is Dies Anniversarius Centesimus Septuagesimus Quintus, which is a mouthful.
thanks... Chris ----------------------------------------------------------------------- To leave the Mantovano mailing list at any time, do NOT hit reply.
