OpenOffice.org is both the name of a software product - /the OpenOffice.org Productivity Suite/ - and the name of the open-source project which designs, develops, maintains, translates, tests, documents, supports, and promotes the Suite - /the OpenOffice.org Community/.
ja, das ist eine BESCHREIBUNG. Übersetzt in etwa so viel wie: "OOo ist sowohl der Name für ein Programm/eine Software - die Office-Suite - als auch für das Projekt OpenOffice.org." Office-Suite ist in dem Fall KEIN Eigenname, sondern nur eine Erörterung, genauso wie Projekt strenggenommen auch kein Eigenname ist.
Aber wie Jörg schon schrieb, damit hatte eigentlich bislang niemand Probleme...
