Laughable? Here's what's laughable: You have yet to provided a source for your claim that the Taliban has caused 70% of the civilian deaths, yet you criticize Ron for using 2008 figures. Where are your figures from, provided they are from somewhere other than your impoverished imagination? Heres what's laughable: "(where for example does he prove the NATO intervention is an act of, or in the service of, imperialism)." The fact that all the countries of NATO participating in this exercise in destruction are what we call imperialist countries, that all the previous and current armed military incursions of NATO have been intended to maintain, increase, project the power of one or another or some of the NATO countries over the supposed enemy, the fact that NATO in its very origin is a coordinated military effort manifesting the unity of imperialist countries-- all that is not evidence of a proof that the NATO intervention is in fact imperialist. The only thing Rakesh left out was the LOL. The burden of proof is not on Ron's shoulders, given the origin and function of NATO. The burden of proof is Rakesh's. So let's ask Rakesh some other questions that might produce laughable poses: UN interventions Congo past, Congo present, imperialist or not and where's the proof?
