I agree with Hari Kumar - that Trump id a fascist threat - and his circle has fascists, along with wealthy whom share a more authoritarian government - with ruler and no more Congress to interfere.
We will know whom is correct in a few months ahead. Unfortunately, the democrats want to hope and prefer promoting the Election Industry that so many of them have financial interest in that supports their denial of reality and supporting the existing government/state. And trying to prepare now broad forcest to organize a active needed resistance to before that November Election - and prepared for what I view as the logical conclusion for Trump and his supporters to take - with less popular support - to turn to as Hitler did in creating an incident to justify no longer government as usual, but with now a ruling president nd no Congress. I can envision a contrived "terrorist attack" on the Congress - that Trump will be glad to no longer have to be a counter force problem to his unquestioned rule. The DSA and most groups from organized labor to Identity groups consisting of millions of people, do not want to even consider this possibility - and to set up NOW a popular front organized for protecting elections and opposing possible authoritarian efforts to transform the USA to even more harsh authoritarian fascist rule by Trump.. Too many older leftist are comfortable and do not want to risk and challenge and the youth are with little leadership in their ranks to offer courage and organized resistance. The weakened Left we now have, just wants to watch and hope for better - and not have a National Council of Resistance formed - that just not following the failed leadership of Schumer and Jeffries and privileged politicians caring about themselves and whose political orientation is to serve the wealthy. So to Hari and others on this list, can not a popular front be actually enacted to organize each state and community, neighborhood etc. to have a orgnized effort to be even larger than Minnesota this past January which forced Trump to temporarily back down - as his circle keeps plotting and installing their people thoughout the government - to end the current USA to a open dictatorship. Examples - the admirals and generals fired this year, were also ordered evicted from their residences on military bases - whom these residences were provided to Trump Cabinet Members to then reside behind closed off bases. Why is this needed? As the placing of people in a slew of government agencies that previously would have not supported a shut down of government agencies and courts - and to send military and armed security forces to carry out control of the new Trump Rule, with the votes hoped - not likely even held, if my concerns and awareness of insider efforts drifting towards that - as Trump's alternative - to not allow a loss of power or his corrupt wealth to rely on "democracy" - something he never has cared about as a narcissistic and insecure megalomaniac whom cares nothing about others - and thus open to "drastic steps" to remin in rule and "much more order". Waiting for those comfortable to resist and risk - does not always help - aswhy the organized Germany CP militias melted away without seriously fighting Hitler's fascists. Fascists know they are a minority and rely on violence and threats of violence to control the streets and impose their governmental approved rule. .i hope I am wrong, but why do people just want to hope whom hold left ideological views that know that organization of the working class and more isrequired to end Trump's fascist circle whom care not about democracy but to win and rule for their benefit?
