g`day
i got a l16 block that ive bored .080" to 85mm, with L18 crank and rods,
same as L18, and it seems to work ok.
I have a std l16 block that i am fitting twin 38mm SU`s, A87 head, 38mm
ports, 42mm in/33mm ex valves, a mild cam(maybe a C) ,stock exhaust
manifold, hopefully bolt that on in a week or two. should make a bit of
difference i rekon.

>bored 40thou over.....I'm pretty sure that you have to bore it 50thou
>oversize to fit the pistons into it, and the majority of L16 blocks won't
>take it......I may be wrong though,, and please let me know if I am
