This is the definitive answer then, if 240Ks with 3/4" m/cyl work
for you....Despite being told by 'experienced' people our combo
was correct.

I believe that the 'miss match' in this equation can only be the
180B booster operating the 7/8" 240K M/cyl. On our car we have
all 240K hydraulics so this SHOULD have transferred to the 510 no
sweat - but doesn't!!, despite extensive bleeding, adjusting rear
brakes, booster pushrod, m/cyl pushrod and fiddling the pedal.
Soooo based on your experience with 240K I will replace the m/cyl
with 3/4".
However I suspect that my Clutch and Brake bloke won't
necessarily have the correct brand of m/cyl - we will work on
that. The other concern the "works pilot" has, is with this
smaller m/cyl, does this make the boosted pedal more/too
sensitive.
Anybody with an original 180B booster available care to quote the
length of the m/cyl actuating rod.
Any further thoughts appreciated but I off to get 3/4" m/cyl
2day....and will post the results in a week or two for those
wanting to know.
The list works.
Colin
