The RB turbo does come off a smaller motor, and it is a roller bearing
turbo, so yes it would be better suited to smaller motor, but it's still a
really expensive solution! Which is why I suggest that the T3 is a better
'bang for buck'. A better solution than a VG30ET turbo would be a
ex-FJ20DET T3, in fact I think this will be what I fit to my car because
1) It's off a 2L to start with
2) It has a quite big A/R ratio (partly due to it's age) for future headroom
3) It's still much, much cheaper than the RB
