Dave,
The
pistons are all that's used to control the CR - Most Nissan engines especially L
series are like this. All of the L20B heads (U67, V91) are 45.1cc chamber volume
which is the same a a Z18ET head.
The
Bluey L20B's have a different oil filter mounting i.e. the filter
sits vertical. The S2 has an electronic dizzy and has an Aussie block and
as Trevor says it has the V91 head. The 200B update block would probably be the
best for a turbo but the early version wouldn't be real bad either. Zac's got a
running 200B Turbo and I'm sure he would be better than me for advice on this
one.
I'm
nearly sure that both 200B's had Japanese castings (easy to check before you
buy) The early 200B ran from 10/77 - 7/79 and the update ran from 8/79 - 4/81
but there are exceptions as the SSS and Wagon were both imported and I don't
know the finer details of their engines. My guess is that all of the imports had
the earlier spec Japanese engine.
regards
Terry
