Andrew,
I use 40mm webers that are 40mm No Chokes,,onto a match ported 40mm inlet
mani thats also match ported to the head thats also 40mm inlet ports and
42-44?mm inlet valves ..

Outlet ports are also ported and matched the headers ,,which are all the
same length,,it not a branch mani as per most headers/flows..

Dizzy is locked and graphed , No vac advance (not needed for a REAL TWIN
SIDE DRAFT SETUP)

As for 45mm carbs what does the book say 38mm chokes?.
I'd like a pair of 50mm

I have no idle under 1500Rpm but thats fine,,I'd like to think it tuned for
full go ,,Not for shopping.

Over advance probley could to true,,I did have to cut out the dizzy plate so
the dizzy could be turned further,,cam timming was bang on...
But saying that car ran very well,But only on AVgas,,will not run on std
pump gas just farts around with No power.
On pull down for a valve grind/de carb every few months head and valves were
always a nice pink colour

Xy GT351 Falcon's dont cut it on take off or top end...Neither do the Aussie
made holden police cars that we have here..

I have sold my Nissan Leopard to a dude in Africa for very good money
,,,,The only major part left to do on my 510 is finsh the outside panel and
paint it,,engine bay, door shuts, inside and boot is allready done,,So since
I dont have a lot of spare time,,I'll get one of my mates to paint it.
So I'll try and get it back up and running just after xmas,,(been too long)
and dyno it up after its ran back in.
(could be should be a plan)

Malcolm
P.S
the new flat top 89mm pistions look real good sitting in the L20B block.
