I shot a little video last winter at -15F where our outside CFL wouldn't come to even half brightness. I could touch it and the heat of my hand was enough to get it all the way bright but it would go dim pretty quick when I let go. When that one dies it'll get replaced with an LED. Interestingly that one has lasted a looong time with a cheap CFL where incandescent bulbs used to burn out pretty quick. -Curt

I have a couple in the front porch fixture, but only because it's a PITA to get to and I leave it on all night. I have a couple of coach lamps on either side of the garage, and those are LED lamps. I still have a few around the house, but they're in little used fixtures. Everything else has been converted to LED.
