I was partial to some of the Tex Avery and Tom & Jerry, despite them being a H/B cartoon.
I love Ren & Stimpy, however, I strongly warn you to not view their later episodes on YouTube after they got dropped from the network. They're horribly raunchy. You'll never think of sawing wood the same way after you watch the last one. Never got into anime. One of my kids was into Sailor Moon when they were younger, and all I could think about when I saw that were the vending machines I saw in the Ginza (Tokyo) selling the undergarments of young school girls.
