Last I knew the Loctite 660 was about $30 per tube and only available at industrial supply houses, which is where I found it. Do the tried and tested loctite fix and forget about it. I don't see a need for a crank sleeve unless you want to spend $150 for a sleeve instead of $5 for a bottle of loctite.
