FWIW - I repaired a 91 long nose with a $1.39 square key from Lowes.. the
back half was still in the timing belt pulley, just cut the one I bought to
the right length for the pulley and installed.. worked perfect. Repaired
it in my driveway with hand tools, took 30 minutes.

Still cheaper than a crank replacement.

Last I knew the Loctite 660 was about $30 per tube and only available at
industrial supply houses, which is where I found it. Has that changed?

Do the tried and tested loctite fix and forget about it. I don't see a
need for a crank sleeve unless you want to spend $150 for a sleeve instead
of $5 for a bottle of loctite.

A guy suggested that I put in a crank sleeve around the crank.
