Frightening in the same way the Sub was the first time I drove it.. like a caged animal. As I am sure you know from Elvis, it's just the next level up, and it's a handful to begin with. Plus it's not fully sorted out so it's interesting to drive to say the least.
Heh, I'll have you know I hit the revlimiter at 5500 TWICE today. :)
I saw a really nice 572 at the parts counter the other day....700+hp circle track motor, PERFECT for a Miata. ;)

Turns out the nicely CNC'd heads were CNC'd a little too far, leaving an aluminum foil thickness intake port wall. After a few sessions the coolant blew through into the port, day over. fortunately, the suppliers of the heads are replacing them for us.At this point, I think springing for a GMP crate motor would have been the way to go, not used.Bill Cardell
