Elvis doesn't feel that fast in isolation. But put the car somewhere you have a point of reference, and you realize that it's pretty quick. At Laguna, when I'd get a wave-by from another car, the pass was instant as the car in front just evaporated. I almost expected some sort of Star Wars hyperspace effect. I think it's because the torque curve is so flat, the true speed of the car is hidden. It's fast, but the car doesn't make a big deal about it. It even puts down the power extremely well coming out of corners.
The Westfield is the opposite. It's fast and it makes very sure you know it.
