But don't you think it is up to the individual toake sure they are adequately covered? I agree that shady practices need to be stopped but that doesn't mean someone else runs my show. I think UPI and I ate very close to agreement, but I want to plan my own furture and healthcare. Ibwant to control it. Maybe there is corruption every where but let me choose the best and the worst with my dollars. I don't have that chance with govt running the show. Not so.... Government "controls" will not stop you from choosing your insurance carrier. That's the BIG POINT of many of the proposed health care bills. People still have the right to choose.
