Things like affirmations do work, a positive attitude prior to a job interview is almost garenteed to get you that job, even with certian mental helath issues a frame of mind that suggests the worst often results in the worst occouring, whilst the opposite begets, well the opposite. Much of what the Doc says has a level of truth I think.
