Pat is the only person I've heard follow this reasoning to a reasonable
result, that is to say he answered the question of 'why'. This alone
doesn't explain a point to creation, as there would be little point to
it, and explaining creation as a byproduct is not necessary by Occam's
razor. His account weighed heavily into my view that there is great
gravitation to the conservative forces however there is enough to allow
a spark of something that goes against everything we would assume about
absolutes and causality (that it is entire linear).

That ,which is for a time and not eternal or permanent is an illusion

live and die and thus not being eternal or permanent we are illusions.
Whatever we do is predetermined and thus not being free our will is
just an illusion. There is only one Spirit , one Will which is free
and hence is " Fact " and not illusion. My " fact " that God is , is
not an illusion but I myself am an illusion.

RP, are not all of your listed “facts” and “shoulds” illusions too?

Whichever way you look at it the fact is that this world and
everything in it is an illusion because everything is predetermined by
God and nothing is permanent and merges with God and loses all
individual identity. That freedom to act which moves along a
predetermined course is not actually a freedom but an illusion as
such. Still the fact remains that as far as we are concerned we are
free and accountable to ourselves and others for whatever we do as we
are the agents. But it is a cool thought that knowing our bondage we
shouldn't be proud of our achievements and depressed about our
failure , rather we should act with a coolness of purpose and not look
down upon our less fortunate brethren. Ever acting to the best of our
abilities in a spirit of Yoga we should surrender all our actions to
God.

So, the act of concluding that one isn’t “doing” anything and it is
all God’s “doing” is an illusion?

whatever we do , that's the illusion.
