I haven't done a full comparative analysis of their new fees versus their current fees but it appears to me that they are reducing most of the final value % fees by about one percent but are now basing that final value fee on the gross sales amount including postage. I guess you've got to calculate whether or not that's going to better or worse for you depending on your average shipping cost. I might also point out that for 2011, Ebay through PayPal will be sending out 1099s for your gross sales inclusive of shipping if you have 200 transactions in excess of $20,000 in total. FRANC

It is true that they will be charging a fee on postage. They are attempting to rationalise this extraordinary greed by saying that the "New fees reward low shipping". http://pages.ebay.com/sellerinformation/news/feeupdate2011.html#faq I would be interested to hear what other sellers think about all of this. Are there any benefits in maintaining an eBay store?
