This is not 
correct, David. If the post office indicates delivery and the 
buyer can supply the tracking number to Ebay and PayPal, Ebay Seller 
Protection kicks in provided the purchase was sent to a Confirmed Address. It 
is 
true that the seller can also supply the e-mails in which a negative feedback 
is 
threatened in an attempt to reverse any negative feedbacks the buyer may leave

  exchanges were done through eBay messages.  It is against eBay policy to 
  use negative feedback as blackmail to achieve a remedy.  Call eBay under 
  customer support.  You're still on the hook to make the customer happy, 
  but the transaction may be negated if you are able to show via eBay messages

  I recently sold a moderately expensive poster on Ebay ($150).  I 
  shipped priority mail the next day.  About a week later the buyer stated 
  he hadn't received the poster and asked for a tracking number.  I checked 
  the USPS tracking information, which stated the poster had been 
  delivered.  I also confirmed that I had sent to the right address.
   
  When I offered the buyer replacement merchandise or a partial refund, he 
  immediately threatened an EBay/paypal dispute and associated negative 
  feedback.
   
  I basically punted at that point  -- but am following up with the 
  local post office to investigate what happened with the shipment.
   
  Any similar experiences?
