Platt, Some pure intellectual pursuits, such as philosophy, may be supported by the Academy, but that does not equate to all pure intellectual pursuits, such as philosophy, are supported by the Academy. So Platt, do you have evidence that Pirsig thinks "that pure intellectual pursuits such as philosophy are made possible by those in society who "make money.""?
