I think feral children are too small a sample, plus theirproblems could be due 
to something else besides lack oflanguage.Is this an empirical question, one 
perhaps we could settleby trying to raise children that could be socialized 
withoutlanguage?Or is it a conceptual question:  we don't have any criterionof 
what a thought is, other than how 'thought' is used inlanguage?Craig
