If you think that Science can be separated from philosophy I don't
understand what you are doing here. Go talk to other short-sighted
objectivists if you wish, the Gods know there are a lot of them.

[Krimel]
Gosh Chris I thought you were the historian. The history of western
civilization is the history of philosophy shattering into sciences. Newton
was the first true physicist and the last true wizards but he wrote as a
natural philosopher. Today about all that remains of philosophy in physics
is the Ph. in Ph.D.

[Chris]
And if you can show me a thought (I'd like to see and measure the thought
"Kemal Atatürk was a good looking guy" if I can) I'm all ears and eyes.

[Krimel]
I just did. And there was another and watch out, here come some more... All
I _can_ show you is thoughts. That’s all anything in your world can do is
produce thoughts in you. We could measure the effects of those thoughts in
all sorts of ways from MRI and polygraphs to multiple choice questionnaires.

In the case of "Kemal Atatürk was a good looking guy" I suspect a penile
plethysmograph might tell us something.
