Hi Anthony, I'm going to discuss this matter with my sister before responding. squonk
Mark, I’m sorry to read things haven’t improved with your attitude since I last heard from you over eighteen months ago. I don’t think the personal things you have said here are appropriate for a philosophy discussion group or particularly very Zen. I initially put your hostility over Christmas 2006 down to a reaction from your mother’s death but (underneath all the false accusations of plagiarism, lack of integrity etc.), I now realise it largely stems from you not being invited along the September 2006 MOQ film trip across America. The fundamental and simple reason for that is that you had no experience making films. However, David Buchanan, Gavin Gee-Clough and Rebecca Temmer did while still having a good grasp of the MOQ. It’s unfortunate that such decisions can often “tread on toes” but I wasn’t being in the business here with being nice but rather document the surviving people and places associated with the original 1968 ZMM road trip as best as possible with a relatively limited equipment and budget. Considering all the time, energy and opportunities that you were given by me over many years, it’s a pity that you’re still acting like a spoilt brat about this one issue over eighteen months later. However, I do hope you understand one day (when you’ve “hung up the ego” maybe?) that your exclusion from this part of the film project was down to pragmatic reasons rather than anything personal. In the meantime, congratulations on achieving the MA.
