Andre:
If I remember correctly, 66% (?) voted NO (me included) but, and here is the
crux, it wasn't so much against the " Idea" of an EU it was a vote of
no-confidence in the intellectual patterns of value.

Very interesting post Andre. Didn't know anybody in Europe thought this
way. It was good to hear what's happening in Europe from a European. A breath
of fresh air.
The clap-trap... yes. Clutter whether in ones mind, house, or country
only overloads the system and rids clarity and the peaceful qualities that come
with
such clarity. Clarity would seem to include courtesy, hospitality, "innocent
until proven
guilty" (comes to mind), respect, act of honoring, and warm-hearted/caring. My
grandmother always kept a very organized and clean house. She would say to me
if your house is not simply and clean, then it would be difficult to have your
mind be.
She saw the home to be a reflection of the effort in ones mind. I later found
stories of
Amerindians, such as the Inuit that have integrated stories of clearing the
path to ones
igloo and keeping the place clean for this was a direct impact on animals
giving themselves
to them. If they didn't have the place hospitable and welcoming, then they
would not have
any animals want to be with them (so they could eat).
You said above that the majority of Holland voted against being in the EU,
but
then Holland joined the EU anyways?
