Bo:
Buddhism is the Oriental Q-like stage reached after their intellectual
level (the Upanishads) had been transcended, but because their
intellect had't cement into a SOM, their Q stage did not develop into a
proper MOQ, all is woolly and half-baked. And believing this as
exceeding the MOQ is silly. The MOQ turns circles around
everything..

Glad to hear that and your impatience with Ron's is also a good sign
Where do you live right now?

Ron:
IS Andre impatient? from a specific western cutural point of view
Bo's theories make sense. They are compelling from a certain
perspective.

The question seems to be, are intellectual patterns based on cultural
assumptions
of higher quality than those generated from personal experience?

I have my doubts whether or not Bo sees this as a legitimate question.

I sincerely think Andre made a important observation in his christmas post.
A metaphysics of Quality is a value centered metaphysics not logic centered.
As Andre notes, logic has value, but logic is not required for a value centered
reality. Certain western cultural points of view demand that logic creates
reality, but when logic becomes meaningless...ie when Pirsig had his breakdown,
the first impression is that all reality has lost meaning and nothing has value.
