Joe to Mark and all:

I prefer to see emotions as a level in evolution.Since they are indefinable, in
a DQ/SQ metaphysical division they can only be DQ.

Andre:
Hey Joe, you know I have questioned your interpretation in the past, yet you
keep on bringing it up. I questioned your interpretation based on a reading of
Pirsig's Annotn 141, i.e. emotions are a biological response to quality and not
quality itself. Yet this obviously is not what you mean (as your preference
indicates).

So therefore I ask: 1) do you see emotions as a separate level (within the
MOQ)? 2) how do you argue that emotions are indefinable? and 3) how can you
equate emotions with DQ?.

Perhaps you are pointing towards a different set of emotions that you closely
align with DQ insight/ experience? That is: a dynamic experience and 'feelings'
of euforia?

Still wondering.
Kind regards,
Andre
