Ron,

I did use the term 'static patterns of value.'  Rather than social and 
intellectual patterns 
'having me,' I prefer awareness/mindfulness and spontaneity whenever possible.  
I 
stated clearly, "That doesn't mean destroy them, it means to become 
unattached."  
I have no expectation of reward.  There is nothing I need.  It seems a good 
thing to 
do...      

Your jumping to the conclusions you do seems unreasonable to me.
