There's a whole lot of gradation between the _label_ sane/insane. And there is a huge range of cultural differences taught by our cultural matrix. I've been doing a little reading on the subject of communicational differences by Deborah Tannen. How this plays out in an email forum where the physical signals are missing is interesting to consider.
