[Ron] I sense it will continue to go no-where as long as perception is ruled as absolute.
To clarify a point, I think the symbolism chosen is an important tool similar with what Dmb quoted Joseph Campbell as saying about mythology. Understanding the importance of myth and symbol in perception is key. I liked Platts Respose to this thread. His symbolism evokes an understanding and a relating to the unverse which helps him to cope with his everyday life in a manner which inspires him to endeavor towards Quality. As long as this is understood and that goal is aimed at, he could use any symbolism which evokes those concepts. Myth and symbol are very powerful. [Ron] correction, it was this statement from Platt that I was refering to, [Platt previously] This I believe: "On the death of any living creature the spirit returns to the spiritual world, the body to the bodily world. In this, however, only the body is subject to change. The spiritual world is one single spirit who stands like unto light behind the bodily world and who, when any single creature comes into being, shines through it as through a window. According to the kind and size of window less or more light enters the world. The light, however, remains unchanged." -- Azis Nasafi ________________________________________________________________________ _________ Yahoo!7 Mail has just got even bigger and better with unlimited storage on all webmail accounts. http://au.docs.yahoo.com/mail/unlimitedstorage.html moq_discuss mailing list Listinfo, Unsubscribing etc. http://lists.moqtalk.org/listinfo.cgi/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org Archives: http://lists.moqtalk.org/pipermail/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org/ http://moq.org.uk/pipermail/moq_discuss_archive/ moq_discuss mailing list Listinfo, Unsubscribing etc. http://lists.moqtalk.org/listinfo.cgi/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org Archives: http://lists.moqtalk.org/pipermail/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org/ http://moq.org.uk/pipermail/moq_discuss_archive/ moq_discuss mailing list Listinfo, Unsubscribing etc. http://lists.moqtalk.org/listinfo.cgi/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org Archives: http://lists.moqtalk.org/pipermail/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org/ http://moq.org.uk/pipermail/moq_discuss_archive/
