Disagree. An ideal "is" -- as are all thoughts.

I don't think we need celebrity politicians. There's too much attention
paid to them now, and we treat our President with all the trappings of
royalty. Rather I would like to see true artists celebrated, like Beverly
Sills who passed away recently.
