eh? this does sound interesting, please elaborate on how octaves, 6
zeros and Pirsigs 4 levels relate to one another.
I'm most interested to hear this. I share Jareds' intrigue. Thanks

Hi Ron, Jared M, and all,

Eh? A scary question!
Joe?s mathematics of evolution. I reread Gurdjieff?s chapter
?Heptaparaparshinok in his book All and Everything, and I still can?t
follow it, but his methodology of including air, light, the opium plant
as examples of a substances that can be divided according to seven steps
seems a good approach.
I do not know how Pythagoras? harmony of the spheres settles.

IMO Dq is undefined, 0. A code of art is realized when the consciousness
of the manifestation fits a template. The 1 is a manifestation capable
of evolving, the 0 is how I describe DQ by metaphor. In MOQ terms when
I divide earth 1 by 0 water, I have a 1 capable of division, and a 0
capable of dividing 1 into organic life which is reproducible by itself,
man. When I divide life 1 by water 0 the result is life reproducible
with another, woman. When I divide woman 1 by 0 air proprietary
awareness (consciousness, social order) is the result. When I divide the
social order 1 by 0 fire the intellectual order of law results, and
cosmic evolution stops, but conscious evolution continues. 1
intellectual order of law, 0 consciousness, a higher social order
evolves. 1 higher social order of?, 0 consciousness, a higher
intellectual order. As far as 1 earth can go is enlightenment. IMO

I do not know much of Gurdjieff but that he was mostly a mystic who
taught self awareness through spiritual dance. I do know that Timothy
Leary was influenced by his work.. If I remember correctly his
thought and methods were a grand unification theory of religeon and self
enlightenment.
as far as mathmatic metaphors, I think I'm still pretty lost, when
mysticism meets mathmatics
it can tend to mean anything you like.
