Why bother? The main reason is blatantly obvious in both cases.
In Netscape's case, it's because they haven't yet released a version
which could seriously be accused (by anyone other than the Netscape
Marketing people) of being release quality.
And in the Mozilla Organization's case, it's because they haven't yet
released a version which could seriously be accused (by anyone other
than the Mozillazine people) of being release quality.
('Course, there are other significant reasons, but that's the main one.)
