I prefer an all in one program like communicator/moz/Netscape6.

Why? What's the advantge if I've got to open a Email Client say Eudora,
Then I have to open a dedicate News program such as News Watcher (either
version), Then I have to open a Web Browser to show web pages.

Often emails have URL to websites. If i click on it it has to kick in a
Web browser.

Okay if I have all three open at the same time (like IE/OE) what
eeficiency in RAM usuage have I gained.

ON the other hand .... I have Communicator/Moz/N6 (any one of the
three) I open to the Mail Client I read my email messages. In
communicator if I want to read newsgroups I simple use the button on
Location Bar to choose the group i wish to read. No fuss no Muss. Guess
what I haven't opened up a single other Application? Say i want to click
the URL shown in an email or Newspost. Click .... poof I'm at the
website faster than you can say "Jimmy Crack Corn". Guess what I still
haven't openned another application.

Okay say you have a PC with 64 megs of memory. You open NewsWatcher (or
equivelent for PC) it takes 12 megs to run. You open Eudora it takes
12megs it. You open IE it takes 24 mb to run efficiently. Okay say
Communicator/N6/ or Moz takes 24 meg to run. Okay you have 48 meg to run
three program at the same time. You use 24 mb for a program that has all
three modules at same time. By using C/M/N you've save 24 mb that can be
used by windows.

Come on people! Will you think about it for a second! how is three
programs run at the same time easier than one program capable of all
three. Think ! Think! Oh! (Light bulb moment).

For years I used computers that had barely had enough memory to run more
than one Application other than the system at a time.

>From the complaints i see here, I see PC folks have the same problems.
You've already said because of the design of Moz / N6 you would have
less than a couple of Mb to kill mail and news.

I find it a whole lot more efficient to Click I'm in email, click in
News, click I'm on a website, than to:

Okay lets see i want to read news first so where is news watcher ...
click, okay I'll leave news on in case i receive some new news; ....
okay now where is Eudora i want to read email; ..... okay that a
interesting site (juding from description) click okay IE is opening now.
Application quit! insufficient memory (Oh shoot i forgot to shut one of
the other off). Guess I need to do a restart so i can go to that site.
Now what was it ....

You get the drift.

All in one is naturally faster to switch to different modules, All in
one save memory in the long run.
