I *think* that the behavior of Mozilla is:
- When you delete a message from Inbox, the message is not deleted from
the file Inbox, it is only marked for deletion, and a copy of that
message is placed on the Trash.
- When compacting folders, the unique operation that Mozilla makes is to
delete physically the text of the messages marked for deletion.
- But, when we empty the trash, is the text of the messages completely
deleted or are they marked for deletion also?
So, reading the first and the second sentence before, I think that
compacting folders when emptying the trash is a logical behavior.
Any comments/corrections?
